NATURAL MULTITASKING IS MANDATORY.

I like "multi-".....multiplicity, multicultural, multiplication etc. Any contribution to diversification and value augmentation is achievement.
--- Rossana Condoleo

If you manage your multitasking, you will be much more effective than if you simply hop from project to project without driving them to completion.

--- Mitch Thrower

Napoleon Hill advocated having a definite chief aim in his bestseller “Law of Success." I wondered how a man could have only one aim.
We have many targets to achieve i.e. good education for children, own house, good health, own car, happy family life, sufficient money, etc. So having a definite chief aim has always been a mystery to me. I also read Peter Drucker's ”Management by objectives."
After pondering much, I concluded the following.
If one has a definite chief aim of becoming a multimillionaire, one must have many other short term and medium term goals such as earning a targetted high income by synergizing efforts, saving and investing with time bound plans, etc.
If we have a definite chief aim of making our country richest and strongest, we must have many other short term and medium term goals of population control, educating masses, nurturing talents, increasing exports, decreasing imports, etc.
Therefore one definite chief aim must have hosts of subsidiary goals, and we must work to achieve them with strict time bound plans.
Thus, multitasking is not only essential but mandatory also.
Our body also does multitasking of purifying the blood, digesting food, fighting diseases, inhaling air, etc. to achieve the definite chief aim of maintaining a good and robust health.
Just imagine what will happen if our body insists on one task at a time.

PRACTICE MAKES A MAN PERFECT.

Lord Shrikrishna preached in holy Bhagwad Gita," For one who remembers Me without deviation, I am easy to obtain." He did not exhort to remember his name on mere Krishnashtmi or any other auspicious day. Lord urged to remember his name continuously and without any deviation.

Continuous practice is the secret of success in all fields. One must not only repeat, repeat and repeat but also practice, practice, and practice. If one aspires to inculcate a healthy habit, one must read it, repeat it and practice it. Benjamin Franklin used to choose one good habit and practiced it for one week. He picked another good activity in the next week and practiced the same for another week. He did so till that good habit became his reflex action.
Therefore if you like any article of our lovely blog "truedreams19000.blogspot.in" Don't be satisfied by mere reading it once. Save that creation in the bookmark to read and repeat it time and again. Make your password with initials of that article in combination with numerical and special characters. Repeat it time and again while doing the morning walk. Repeat it time and again while doing other chores.Don't leave it unless and until it becomes part of your subconscious.
Thus anyone can achieve immense success and happiness.

DO PERFECTLY IN REASONABLE TIME

Once I decided to impress my better half, and I asked her to mention any date from the calendar of 2014. Madam spoke a few dates; I promptly told the related days. She was much impressed. I, then, suggested her to read my article," Remember Calendar of 3 years."

One Sunday, I was going to association office in haste. Madam was chatting with her friend. She suddenly asked me on which day the 17th September 2015 falls. I was preoccupied to reach association office in time. Therefore I had two options.

I would have politely told her that this calculation will take a little time, and I have to reach office in time. So I shall give the test later on. Alternatively, I would have calculated it coolly.

The Key for September 17, 2015, is 1. So by adding 17 and one we get 18 and by dividing 18 by 7, we get remainder 4. So the day is Thursday. But I calculated wrongly in haste and replied,"Friday."
I left for association office hurriedly. However, I realized my mistake within few minutes on my way.
Later on, I told Madam about the error. She was deeply disappointed since all this happened before her friend.
The habit of doing things perfectly saves our time and keeps us tension free since we don't have the discomfort of doing it again with a self-reproach.
Following age old proverbs also testify my contention.
HASTE MAKES WASTE.
SAFETY FIRST, SPEED AFTERWARDS.
A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE.
THE HURRYING MOUSE FALLS INTO THE MILK.
जल्दीबाजी  का  काम  शैतान  का

AVOID SHORTCUTS

There are many shortcuts to failure, but there are no shortcuts to true success.
--- Orrin Woodward
Shortcuts make long delays.
--- J.R.R. Tolkien.
We all naturally want to become successful. We also want to take shortcuts. And it's easy to do so, but we can never take away the effort of hard work and discipline and sacrifice.
--- Apolo Ohno.
Champions know there are no shortcuts to the top. They climb the mountain one step at a time. They have no use of helicopters!
--- Judi Adler.
God didn't adopt shortcuts while creating this beautiful world. He created mouth-watering fruits, beautiful scenery, large oceans, breathtaking mountains, kind and compassionate human beings.

All the beautiful creation by human beings such as Tajmahal, Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China, Statue of Liberty etc are result of careful hard work with unbelievable patience and perseverance.
We must avoid shortcuts at all places.
Diligence, patience and perseverance is always followed by stupendous and long lasting success.

HOW I PROCRASTINATED AN IMPORTANT WORK FOR ONE MONTH?

“Procrastination is the thief of time.”, The wise exhorted.
I too wrote an article," FINISH THE TASKS AT THE EARLIEST." and DRIVE PROCRASTINATION AND INDECISION AWAY FOREVER. But alas, I, too, became a victim of procrastination even then.

My mother was admitted, one by one, to three hospitals for the treatment of liver cancer, but Alas!  She succumbed at last.
I was required to submit three medical claims which looked like a marathon task.

I received all papers on the 13th April 2015. So I decided to finish it on the next Sunday, i.e., on April, 19th. But I was in a meeting on that day. So the next best day was chosen on the 26th April. Again I had some important work, so this work went on being procrastinated for more than one month altogether.
Once I was reading my article," INCH BY INCH, ANYTHING IS A CINCH." I decided to use this theory on the medical bills. I immediately opened the envelope, scanned the bills and segregated them hospital wise. I worked on them for half an hour. Next day, too, I spared around one hour to prepare the claims. Lo, the claims were ready for submission in mere three days.
We often procrastinate monotonous or tedious tasks for months and years altogether, but amazingly, we finish them soon after we start.
Human beings are prone to forget. Therefore, I advocate reading good articles every day. Many devotees read religious books daily; they start re-reading them after coming to an end.
Start, therefore, inculcating good thoughts into healthy habits by repeatedly reading good articles every day from your lovely blog truedreams19000.blogspot.com.

HOW LONG CAN YOU WORK WITHOUT PAYMENT?

Money is the biggest motivator; therefore, the rich as well as poor, hanker after it.
A porter asks for money just after rendering service. A laborer asks for it at the end of the day. The service class asks for money at the end of the month. The entrepreneur puts all his investments and efforts at stake without getting anything for the months and years altogether, but when his project starts yielding money, he becomes millionaire or billionaire.
Thomas Edison incessantly worked to invent incandescent lamp for many years; he put all his intelligence and all his time to research like a crazy without getting anything. Although he failed thousands of times, when he succeeded in 1879, he gave us not only a priceless and unique gift but also made his name immortal. As an icing on the cake, he also earned a formidable fortune from his inventions and patents.
How long and on how many occasions can we work without payment? The more we develop our capability to toil without it, the more name, the more fame and the more money will kiss our feet.
Start acting just now and save as much as possible to develop the capability to work without money. The habit of savings works two ways; it reduces your needs as well as strengthens your financial muscles incredibly.

Busy for Nothing.".

THE MORE SPECIFIC, THE MORE EXCELLENT

The more specific and measurable your goal, the more quickly you will be able to identify, locate, create, and implement the use of the necessary resources for its achievement.

Charles J. Givens

One fine day, I received a phone call from a courier boy. The poor chap asked furiously," Sir, where is your house in banker's colony." I boasted calmly," I have been living there for 15 years. Ask my name from anybody." He became much flustered, "None is outside. To whom shall I ask? Please tell me your house number." I realized my mistake and said meekly, L-4.

Recently I called on my friend Manish Jee in Kolkata. He told me," He lives in Shipping Corporation housing society." I presumed this society must be big and famous. So I didn't bother to ask Plot number etc. and boarded one taxi, assuming that the cab driver must be knowing it.
We were searching Shipping Corporation housing society, near Park Circus, from the windows of the cab. The cab driver, too, was not able to locate it. Finally, I telephoned Manish Jee who came on the road to receive us; we discovered to our dismay that the cab was just 50 feet away from the Shipping Corporation housing society.
Once I was reading a book on creative writing, the accomplished author exhorted to write explicitly e.g.Write," Uttam was eating bread and butter."  instead of writing " He was eating."  Being specific is an art. The more one practices, the more proficient he becomes. Be as much specific as possible. The more specific, the more excellent e.g. one may write," Uttam was eating brown bread with Amul butter at 8 A.M. in my house" and so on.

ANOTHER DESTRUCTIVE CLICHE "I THOUGHT!"

"I thought" is another useless, time wasting and a destructive phrase like " Just for.....". Many of us don't explore all possibilities;  many of us don't do due diligence but just make baseless assumptions and take a particular course of action. Later on, we exclaim in a resigned tone, oh I just THOUGHT!

One fine morning my wife didn't give me the lunch box; she innocently explained," I thought, there would be a feast today in your office."
" Are you a magician?", I asked jokingly. She defended," Today is a special day." That Tuesday was, of course, a special day, but nonvegetarians shifted lunch party to Wednesday, so  I didn't tell her to skip the lunch box, nor did she ask me, Although I enjoyed my lunchtime by relishing tasty Pao-Bhaji at Banshee Sweets. Perhaps my wife took the shield of cliché "I thought" to save her from cooking lunch due to other engagements.

Once we issued notices to the loan repayment defaulters; an innocent looking young borrower called on me and defended," Sir, I THOUGHT, the bank has waived my loan" I asked politely," Sir, did bank give you any no dues letter?" He replied in negative.
Perhaps he took the shield of cliché "I thought" to save himself from the pain of repaying loan installments from his small income. But now he was spending sleepless nights to avoid legal action.
So "I THOUGHT" is another dangerous, destructive and time-wasting phrase like "Just for...."
Avoid it even in your dreams and act only on the basis of adequate due diligence.

WHAT AFTER " WELL BEGUN HALF DONE"?

EXCELLENCE IS A CONTINUOUS PROCESS AND NOT AN ACCIDENT. A.P.J.ABDUL KALAM.

If we start our project in a well-planned way with cent percent enthusiasm, we remain well ahead of our competitors, but please recall the traditional Rabbit-Tortoise fable; the rabbit started well and was much ahead of the tortoise, but became complacent enough to take a nap. Slowly but steadily marching turtle ultimately won the race.
The life must have been going at a slow pace when this fable was told, but now the need of the hour is, be fast and steady both.

The smart and fast rabbit began well but later on became complacent and faced the ignominious defeat in the hands of the slow but steady turtle. So beginning well is not enough.

A famous architect once claimed," We are not at all complacent after beginning well but diligently ensure keeping every brick correctly to give the building the most fantastic look."

Therefore we must work diligently through thick and thin on the pathway from "Well begun is half done" to "All is well that ends well."

EXPLORE ALL THE POSSIBILITIES.

Try again; you have millions of alternatives.
--- Israelmore Ayivor, Dream Big!
Our mind incessantly produces ideas based on our experience, attitude, and learning; many persons embrace even the silliest ones, first crossing their minds, but if we refuse to hug the first ones and seek more alternatives, our subconscious mind happily gives more and more.

Whenever I decide to solve a problem, I always brainstorm for more and more solutions.
I always ask," Can there be another solution?"  I also urge my colleagues to suggest suitable alternatives and discuss all feasible solutions with them. Then we select the best one.
For example, I and my friend Mr. N.K.Mehta wanted to purchase a plot of land. We visited many plots in Muzaffarpur but did not find them worth buying. We asked many friends and acquaintances for help.  Finally, our senior Mr. B.K.Srivastav informed that PNB staff members were purchasing a big piece of land near Patna to develop a PNB housing colony. We finally decided to ride the bandwagon.

However, allot time to explore alternatives according to the importance of a problem. If you wish to have a dinner in a good restaurant, apparently you will spend less time in exploring options than a person who is searching a suitable bride for his smart son.

FINISH THE TASKS AT EARLIEST

In olden days, kings always carried swords and arrows. They killed their enemies as soon as they found the rascals; if an enemy was too powerful, they waited for the right time to finish the son of a bitch.
However, the Kings didn't sit idle; they sent their spies in enemy's camp and tried to purchase their allies; they continuously strived to weaken their enemy by hook or by crook. The shrewd monarchs always kept track of all their enemies and annihilated them systematically one by one.

We, too, are no less than any warrior; when we leave the bed, we find many works to be done. We must finish them, then and there, if some work looks too mind boggling, bide your time, wait for the right time and finish it promptly. In the meantime, please don't sit idle but do something daily towards completion of the task. Always keep in mind," Inch by inch; anything is  a synch." Whatsoever mighty the tree may be, if you axe daily for a fixed time, it will certainly fall, one day.
Keep track of all the works to be done by preparing "TO DO LIST" and annihilate them systematically and promptly. The more jobs you finish, the more success will hug you.
If you ignore the works, you confront every day; they will become the nastiest bastards; they will swallow your day's happiness and night's sleep.

FIRST THINGS FIRST

We are often overwhelmed by a long list of tasks.

'First things first' theory exhorts to do important tasks first.
80 20 rule is a potent tool for Management; it envisages that 80% output depends on 20% performance. However, it is important to pinpoint which 20% is significant for getting 80% output.
We procrastinate the things; we dislike and start a trivial task just to rationalize.
Following "First Things First" principle saves us from such predicament.
Make a list of all the tasks, review it regularly & follow the "First Things First" principle for doing the tasks in order of priority.

PRIORITY OF THINGS MAY BE GIVEN AS UNDER
1. IMPORTANT AND URGENT.
2. IMPORTANT
3. URGENT BUT NOT IMPORTANT.

Avoid the trivial, even if they appear compelling; get rid of their tyranny, do great things.
Delegate many tasks, to juniors, according to their capability. The art of delegation saves your time and energy for doing those things; your juniors are not competent to do.
Purchasing food items for daily consumption is urgent. One can't afford to starve one's family members. Educating one's children, saving for building a beautiful home as well as for old age is important.
A novice is severely obsessed with the urgent and spares no time for the important.
The skilled manage critical tasks nicely and also save time and other resources to invest in important long term goals.

INCH BY INCH ANYTHING IS A CINCH

PERSISTENCE AND ENDURANCE WILL                   MAKE YOU OMNIPOTENT
                                                                                                                      - CASEY NEISTAT
Rome was not built in a day.
The Journey of thousand miles begins with the first step.
Doing something daily towards our goals yields tremendous results.
Don't think of hitting mega goals only; Strike even small targets towards your coveted life goal. Hitting a large number of small targets will give you enormous achievements.

TAKE SUITABLE REMEDIAL STEPS ON THE FIRST DANGER SIGNAL.

A small leak will sink a great ship.
--- Benjamin Franklin.

Sage Dhaumya had a disciple named Aruni who stayed in the Gurukul. Once Aruni was crossing a nearby field of Gurukul and observed that a substantial amount of water was sipping from the field's embankment, he desperately tried to stop the flowing water with mud and wooden logs but couldn't succeed. Finally, he lay down on the broken embankment, the sipping of water stopped immediately. Later on, the sage Dhaumya and his disciples came to the crisis point and repaired the broken dam.
One must be continuously looking for small danger signals to stop mind boggling damages.
A small tumour ignored initially converts itself into life-threatening cancer and gives great agonizing pain. A wisp of smoke, when ignored, turns into a ravaging fire. A little increase in cholesterol, if not controlled, blocks the arteries and causes a heart attack.

Train your eyes to identify first danger signals which are usually very small. Take immediate remedial steps to neutralize the ominous signal. You will save yourself and others from many devastating damages.

MAKING PLANS & EXECUTING THEM IS NATURAL & EASY

Mr. M. R. Kopmeyer was the president of eight corporations. Now he is retired and success counsellor of more than one hundred companies. He advocated in one of his books,” If you want to master something, please imagine that doing it is natural & easy.”
So I always assume that making plans & executing them is natural & easy.
Actually, we continue to make and execute plans all our life.
What do we while getting out from our house? We plan to go to the office to earn our lively hood. We plan to put our children in school. They plan to get best marks in their exams for getting good jobs. We plan to build houses, get promoted and do a lot of other things. We invariably get what we plan.

Let's spare a little time for doing

Conscious planning and work diligently for its timely execution.

EXPLOIT THE MAGICAL EFFECTS OF CHANTING.

Saints have been chanting holy mantras repeatedly, religiously and forcefully since olden days for acquiring divine powers.
Striking employees shout slogans repeatedly and forcefully to get energized & highly motivated.
In Jeffrey Archer's famous novel,” The Prodigal Daughter," Florentyna Kane used to continuously chant to her," I SHALL BECOME PRESIDENT." Eventually, she became the President of USA.

Make a slogan of your goals.
If you aspire to become super rich, chant," I SHALL BECOME A BILLIONAIRE." forcefully and continuously. Please make your G-Mail or Facebook password isbb$30.  Thus whenever you punch the password, your subconscious mind will be reminded about your LIFE GOAL. The slogan will be fast embedded gradually in your subconscious mind by continuous forceful chantings. Consequently, your mind start searching many ways to become a billionaire and you will find many opportunities to fulfill your dreams.
It is proved time and again that our subconscious mind has infinite powers. Once something is picked up steadfastly by the subconscious mind, miracles happen. Divine and unknown forces make impossible looking things possible.
The Beauty of this exercise is that we remember our passwords very quickly since they are first alphabets of our slogan. But for others they are meaningless.
Children are named after Gods or Goddesses since it is believed from time immemorial that while calling names of their children repeatedly, the devotees also call their Gods and Goddesses and get their blessings. Therefore we are advocating something which is being practiced profitably since time immemorial.

Sharing your life goals with others and associating with like minded positive people multiplies the effects. Florentina Kane declared openly that she wanted to become the President of the USA. Therefore, don't forget to tell others about your life goals. Some persons may scorn at you, but many will be ready to help you on the win-win basis.

Young Saints stayed together in Gurukuls under the guidance of Old Saints. Please associate with experienced and highly successful people in your field and get their advice for achieving grand success. Many highly successful individuals are ready to share their secrets of achievement through their books. You will find interviews with others on television or in newspapers.

Take up the gauntlet and start with full force. Well begun is half done and nothing succeeds like success.
